I knitted this kind of long and narrow Alvar, because it suits better with my purposes than a wide one. Anyway this weave shape makes it little wider than it really is. Alvar works also this way!

Luikero-Alvar
Neuloin tuollaisen pitkän ja kapean Alvarin, koska se sopii omiin tarkoituksiini paremmin kuin leveä. Jotenkin aaltokuvio saa huivin tuntumaan vähän leveämmältä kun onkaan, koska se leventelee vuoroin kummallekin sivulleen. Toimii siis näinkin!
